In order to qualify for the benefits of the Old Mutual Customer Offer, the following conditions must be met:
- Eligibility: This offer is for Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (South Africa) Limited customers, except for the exclusive savings noted on page 2, which are available to all customers and independent of licensed insurance entities. All benefits can be redeemed with proceeds from an Old Mutual policy or cash. Ts and Cs apply.
- Applicability: This offer is applicable to the Tribute, African Pride, Copper, Silver and Gold plan burial packages. The Tribute Plan starts from R17 500.
- Geographical Limit: This offer is only applicable to burials conducted through participating Two Mountains’ Branches. A list of participating branches can be found by contacting our customer service at 0800 001 919.
- Distance Limitation: The free collection of the deceased is limited to a 50 km radius from Two Mountains’ participating Branches. A list of participating branches can be found by contacting our customer service at 0800 001 919. Any additional distance will incur extra charges, which will be communicated to the customer in advance.
- Claim Guidance: Guidance will be provided to customers on how to lodge a claim, register the death and complete the associated burial administration. Two Mountains makes no guarantees regarding the success or timeliness of the claim processing. Burial services by Two Mountains will only be conducted once all burial costs have been paid in full.
- Modification and Discretion: Two Mountains reserve the right to modify, amend, or terminate this offer and also reserve the right to modify and amend the terms and conditions of this offer, at any time, without prior notice. Any such changes will be communicated to the customer as soon as possible.
- Errors and Omissions: While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, errors and omissions may occur. Two Mountains reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions.
- Indemnity: The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Two Mountains from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the use of the services provided under this offer, except where such claims, damages, losses, or expenses arise from the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of Two Mountains.
- Consumer Rights: Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit or exclude the customer’s rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
